This piece is SO special to me.

I originally created it for my dear friend Alysha. She was tragically widowed with two young children and wanted to honor her late husband with a piece of art. He lived his life full out, and would always be heard saying “Carpe Diem!”

He has inspired her to take on her life in the same way and I love watching her show up boldly in so many ways. She is a gift to me and I was thrilled to create this for her.
