Born out of my 30 Day Intuitive Painting Challenge, this style is quickly becoming a favorite. There’s something about the pulled paint that I just love. I can’t really control what it does, and all the mixing and organic white space is a happy surprise each and every time.

This mantra is one of my favorites from the series. It sends electricity down my spine and awakens a part of me that can quietly slip into the shadows. As a mother and wife (and woman in this patriarchal society), it is effort-filled to stay active in my self-care.

I did not have this modeled to me growing up and it feels like a revolution every time I click back into alignment with it. People pleasing and putting the needs of others ahead of our own is the disease that keeps us women fractured. Instead, honoring our innate worthiness and giving ourselves that exquisit care we all deserve is the greatest gift we can give the world.

Rested women change the world. Nourished women nurture the future. Alive, aligned women ignite revolutions.

I hope this mantra serves you and reminds you to make yourself a priority.
